Air India Express Fully Restores India-GCC Flight Network Ahead of Summer Rush

Dubai: Air India Express has started flying to all the places it used to in West Asia. It has begun services to Kuwait and Salalah again. This is because airlines are getting back to their schedules before the summer, when a lot of people travel.

The airline said that flights from Kozhikode to Salalah started again on July 2. Flights from Kozhikode to Kuwait will start again on July 3. Flights from Bengaluru to Kuwait will start again on July 4. They will add flights over the next few days.

The Kozhikode to Salalah flight will happen twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Kozhikode to Kuwait flight will start with one flight a week. Then increase to three flights a week from July 5. The Bengaluru to Kuwait flight will also increase from one flight a week to three flights a week from July 7.

Air India Express said that all flights to and from Kuwait will still use Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport. The airline has also started its Muscat to Mangaluru flight again from July 3. This will help people travel between India and Oman easily. Now the airline has around 40 flights a week from Muscat to seven cities in India.

They are starting these flights again because the airspace in the region is open again after being closed for a while. This closure was because of the fighting in the Middle East, which made some airlines stop or change their flights. Air India Express had already started flying to its destinations in the UAE this year. Now it has added flights to its schedule, like Navi Mumbai to Abu Dhabi, Guwahati to Abu Dhabi and Guwahati to Dubai.

With the flights to Salalah starting, Air India Express now flies to 13 places in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It has around 780 flights a week between India and the Gulf. It also connects 18 cities in India directly. The airline is adding flights because a lot of people want to travel between India and the GCC during the summer holidays. Airlines are adding flights so that they can accommodate all the people who want to travel.
