Dubai: Emirates SkyCargo is making its freight network bigger by starting a new cargo route to Central Asia. They will have flights between Dubai and Almaty in Kazakhstan every week starting from June 16.

This new service is a deal for Emirates SkyCargo and will help trade between the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan which is one of the fastest growing economies in Central Asia.

Emirates SkyCargo will use Boeing 777 planes to carry cargo. These planes can carry than 100 tonnes of cargo every week between Almaty and Dubai. The new service will help move all sorts of goods like electronics and food. It will also give businesses in Kazakhstan a connection to Emirates SkyCargos network, which covers six continents.

Better Trade Connections

Almaty is a city in Kazakhstan and is important for trade and logistics. The new cargo route will make it easier to move goods. Will connect Central Asia to the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Experts think this new route is a step in helping the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan work together economically. It will also support the growing trade in the region.

Helping Dubai’s Logistics Goals

Badr Abbas, who is in charge of Emirates SkyCargo, said the new route is part of the airline’s role in helping trade. He also said it shows how important Central Asia is becoming economically. He noted that the service will help businesses in Kazakhstan get to markets and will give international customers a faster way to get cargo to the region.

This expansion also supports Dubai’s plan to become a player in global trade and logistics.

Growing in New Markets: Emirates SkyCargo is adding Almaty to its list of destinations as part of its plan to expand into growing markets. The new service will connect emerging economies to supply chains. With this route, Emirates SkyCargo is one of the few big freight operators that offers dedicated cargo flights between Dubai and Central Asia. This will create opportunities for businesses and logistics providers in the region.
