UAE Flight Status March 11: Limited Schedules, Cancellations, and Refund Options Explained

Airlines Operate Reduced Services Amid Regional Tensions

As regional developments continue to impact airspace across the Middle East, UAE airlines are operating on restricted schedules. Major carriers including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai, and Air Arabia have resumed partial services, but many routes remain subject to last-minute changes and cancellations. Authorities and airlines are urging passengers to check the latest updates before heading to the airport.

Safety Remains the Top Priority

All airlines have reiterated that the safety of passengers and crew is their highest concern. Travellers should only proceed to the airport if they have a confirmed booking and have verified their flight status through official channels. Airlines recommend that passengers keep their contact information updated to receive timely alerts and notifications.

Emirates: Options for Affected Passengers

Emirates has restarted a reduced number of flights, connecting Dubai to destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Passengers transiting through Dubai are strongly advised to monitor their email for updates and check their flight status on the Emirates website. For those with cancellations or missed flights, Emirates is offering flexible solutions: bookings made between February 28 and March 31 can be rescheduled for travel on or before April 30 at no extra charge. Refunds are available for cancelled flights, and affected travellers may receive hotel vouchers where possible.

Etihad Airways: Free Rebooking and Refunds

Etihad Airways is also operating a limited schedule from Abu Dhabi to key cities worldwide. Travellers with tickets issued on or before February 28 for travel up to March 21 can rebook their flights free of charge for journeys until May 15 or opt for a refund.

flydubai and Air Arabia Adjust Schedules

flydubai has resumed operations, but with fewer flights and altered routes. Passengers who booked between February 28 and March 31 can change their travel dates within 30 days of the original booking without penalty. Air Arabia is running a limited number of flights to India, Pakistan, Europe, and the Middle East, offering one free date change, travel credit, or a full refund for affected bookings.

Stay Informed and Travel Only with Confirmation

Officials continue to monitor the situation closely. Passengers are urged to stay updated via airline websites and apps, travel only with confirmed bookings, and expect possible schedule changes as operational conditions evolve.
