Oman Resumes Drone Permits and Aerial Sports Activities

The Civil Aviation Authority of Oman has started giving out permits for drone operations and aerial sports. This is a step towards getting aviation activities for fun and business going again in Oman.

On Monday, they said that people can get permits for aerial vehicles, like drones, through the Serb platform. This is for government, business and personal use in areas that are safe for drones. They are also letting people do paragliding, paramotor operations and other aerial sports in Oman again. The authority said that this new rule starts now and will stay in place until they say something.

The people in charge are making sure that everyone follows the safety rules. They want everyone to be safe when they are doing things in the air. So they are telling operators and people who participate in these activities to do what they are supposed to do.

This change is going to help the aviation sector in Oman, which is getting bigger. It will also help businesses that use drones and people who like adventure sports when they visit Oman. The Civil Aviation Authority of Oman is making sure that drone operations and aerial sports are safe and fun for everyone in Oman.
