A lot of people are worried about the outbreak on the MV Hondius cruise ship. Some people got very sick. A few even died. The Hantavirus they have is not common. It is hard for people to get it from each other.
Far three people from the cruise ship got sick and died. Some people are sick, and doctors are watching them. Experts from the World Health Organisation and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control are helping to see what is going on.
Even though a lot of people are talking about the outbreak, the World Health Organisation says that most people are not in danger. They say it is very hard for people to get Hantavirus from each other.
The MV Hondius has around 150 people on it. It is going to Tenerife. When it gets there, people will get off the ship in a way to keep everyone safe. The ship will not stop as it does, and people will have to follow special rules.
Some countries, like the United Kingdom and the United States, are also getting ready to help people who might be sick. They are making plans in case.
