Emirates flydubai resume flights after Dubai airport disruption

Flights in the UAE are slowly getting back to normal after a problem near Dubai International Airport. Major airlines like Emirates and flydubai are flying again. Only on a limited schedule.

There was a drone incident near the airport on Monday morning. It affected a fuel tank so authorities stopped flights as a precaution. Luckily emergency teams handled the situation quickly. No one was hurt. The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority said flights are starting up again to some places.

Even though flights are resuming airlines are warning that schedules can still change. Dubai Airports told passengers not to go to the airport unless their airline has confirmed their flight time.

Emirates started flying later in the day but they’re not flying as much as usual. Some flights are. They’re letting affected passengers know about their options, for rebooking or changing their plans. Passengers can change their bookings online within 72 hours of their departure.

Flydubai is starting to get its flights on track but it is doing this slowly. The airline is getting in touch with the people who are affected by the changes. They are telling people not to go to the airport unless they have checked if their flight is still happening.

Some flights had to go to Al Maktoum International Airport because of the problems. This is what Dubai Airports said.

Other airlines like Air Arabia and Etihad Airways are also not flying much as they normally do. Airlines in the Middle East are changing their routes because some areas are closed to flights.

People who are flying should check to see if their flight is still happening. They should make sure the airline has their contact details. It is an idea to stay in touch with the airline or the person who helped you book your flight to get the latest information, about flydubai and other airlines.
