UAE Weather Alert: Rain, Strong Winds and Blowing Dust Expected Today

NCM warns of visibility as winds of up to 45kph sweep parts of the country

Abu Dhabi: The UAE is going to have some bad weather today. The National Centre of Meteorology says that there will be clouds over the eastern part of the country. This means it might rain, and there will be winds and blowing dust.

The weather will get worse in the afternoon from 2 pm to 7:30 pm. The winds will be very strong up to 45 kilometres per hour. This will happen where there are big thunderclouds. The strong winds will lift dust and sand. It will be hard to see in some places. If you are driving, you need to be careful, slow down and keep a distance from other cars.

The rain will mostly fall in the part of the country. This is because it gets very hot during the day in the summer, and the air gets unstable. The National Centre of Meteorology says that people should check the weather forecast often, especially if they are going outside or travelling to the mountains or eastern areas.

The authorities are telling people to be careful when they travel and not to go to places where there is a lot of dust or where they cannot see well. They should also be ready for the weather to change suddenly. Even though it will be hot, in most of the UAE, the rain, winds and blowing dust might make it hard to drive in some eastern areas. The National Centre of Meteorology is watching the weather. They will tell us if it gets worse.
