I see that Air India and flydubai have grown their networks through a two‑way interline partnership. This gives passengers access to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions.
Under the agreement, which contains an interline arrangement and a Special Prorate Agreement (SPA), Air India customers can travel through Dubai to 52 destinations served by flydubai.
I notice that the additional destinations are spread across an area. They include six in Africa, two in the Commonwealth of Independent States, 23 in Europe,e and 21 across the Middle East.
For Air India passengers, Dubai will be the connecting gateway to these destinations. This expands travel options beyond Air India’s network. I think the extra options are helpful.
Flydubai customers gain access to the Air India network.
The partnership works in both directions.
Flydubai customers will be able to travel to 69 destinations across Air India’s network using Delhi and Mumbai as the gateways.
