UAE air travel is still operating. Flight times keep changing. Some routes have delays and cancellations as airlines adjust services due to regional tensions.
People flying from Dubai and Abu Dhabi should check directly with their airline before heading to the airport because flight times can change quickly.
At Dubai International Airport and Zayed International Airport, the airport websites showed minor disruptions early Monday, though some flights were delayed.
Emirates and Etihad
Etihad Airways keeps flying to places such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Riyadh, Al Qassim and Medina. Flights to Dammam and Jeddah have been delayed.
Emirates keeps scheduled flights to Bahrain and Kuwait. Passengers should confirm their flight status before they leave.
The airlines keep adjusting their operations because of the regional conditions.
Flydubai and Air Arabia
Flydubai has announced changes, such as cancelling flight FZ029 from Dubai to Bahrain and flight FZ817 to Yanbu. Other flights to Bahrain are still running.
The airline tells passengers leaving Dubai to spend at least four hours at the airport, finish online check‑in where possible,e and check their flight status before they travel.
Air Arabia cancelled flights from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi to Kuwait and Bahrain. Other flights are still. Have already landed.
International services remain mixed.
Many international airlines have started or increased flights to the UAE while some still keep their routes suspended.
Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Air India and Air India Express are among airlines that are flying or are bringing flights back. Qatar Airways has expanded its network to more than 160 destinations. Air India and Air India Express have brought back all of their Gulf routes.
Other airlines still keep some UAE routes suspended, such as British Airways, Lufthansa, SWISS, KLM, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific.
Dubai Airports said that capacity at DXB has gone back to about 84 percent of the level and passenger numbers are about 78 percent. The recovery is still slow, and travel advisories still show the changing security situation in the region. Travellers should check airline websites or apps right before they go to the airport and be ready forchanges, to the schedule.
