Dubai: The time is here for UAE customers who want to get the newest Apple smartphones. The iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max will officially be available in the UAE on September 18. Pre-orders started on September 12.
People who want to go into an Apple Store on the day the phones are released and take the model they want may find there are not many choices. This is especially true for colors and storage sizes.
Customers who made pre-orders for in-store pickup will get an email that tells them when their phone is ready. After the first batch of pre-orders is given out, how many are available will depend on how much Apple and other stores have in stock.
The starting price’s Dh5,099
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Dh5,099 for the 256GB version. The Pro Max starts at Dh5,499. The higher storage versions are more expensive. The 2TB Pro costs Dh9,349, and the 2TB Pro Max is Dh10,599.
Both models come in Burgundy, Glacier, Silv, er and Black. Burgundy is a popular color during the UAE pre-order period, with stores saying there is a lot of interest in the 256GB Pro Max.
Options to trade in. Pay
The launch does not mean people have to pay the full amount right away. UAE phone companies and stores are offering ways to pay in installments and phone contracts.
Apple’s Trade In program can also help lower the cost. If people have an iPhone 13 or newer,r they might get some money back. The amount depends on the model. How the phone looks when it is checked.
What is different this time?
The new Pro models have improvements. Both use Apple’s A20 Pro chip. Have a new cooling system with a bigger vapor chamber. This helps the phone stay cooler when it is working hard.
Taking photos is another focus. The 48MP Fusion Main camera now has an aperture. This means the camera can adjust between ƒ/1.48, ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8 and ƒ/4.0.
Battery life is better. Apple says the iPhone 18 Pro can last up to 36 hours of video and the Pro Max up to 45 hours.
The Dynamic Island is smaller. Still works the same way.
People looking for the iPhone 18 will have to wait a bit longer. The model is expected to beavailable, in the first half of 2027.
