Dubai: The situation in the Gulf continues to be unstable as new developments surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, attacks on commercial shipping and disruptions to regional airline travel unfold.

ADNOC announced that fifteen of its vessels were under missile and drone attack while transiting the Strait of Hormuz since the beginning of hostilities, with three incidents taking place this week. One employee was killed, and twenty others were wounded in the most recent assault.
Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan signed the Mecca Joint Defence Pledge, an agreement that designates an attack on any of the three states as an attack on all.
