UAE Weather: Hot Days, Misty Mornings as Temperatures Climb to 45°C

Dubai: The United Arab Emirates will have days of typical summer weather with hot temperatures during the day, fair skies and humid nights that could bring mist and fog to some coastal areas in the early morning. The National Centre of Meteorology says the weather will stay the same through the weekend and into next week, with no big rain expected anywhere in the country.

On Friday, it will be fair to cloudy and low clouds will probably form along the eastern coastline. There will be light to moderate winds in areas, and sometimes these winds will get stronger and reach speeds of up to 35 kilometres per hour.

The United Arab Emirates will have temperatures everywhere, with coastal and island areas getting temperatures between 36 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius and inland areas getting temperatures between 41 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius. The mountain areas will be cooler with temperatures between 34 degrees Celsius and 38 degrees Celsius.

At night and in the morning, the humidity will go up, making it a good time for mist or fog to form, especially in coastal areas. People driving in the morning should be careful because they might not be able to see very far in areas with mist.

The same weather pattern will continue on Saturday, Sunday and into the week. The skies will be fair to partly cloudy. Sometimes clouds will form over the eastern parts of the United Arab Emirates in the afternoon.

There will be light to moderate winds from the southwest to the northwest. Sometimes these winds will get stronger in the western areas, but they will usually stay below 35 kilometres per hour. The sea will also be nice with waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea over the weekend. From Monday on, the Arabian Gulf might get rougher, but the Oman Sea will stay calm.

The people who predict the weather say this is what the United Arab Emirates is usually like in the summer, with hot afternoons, humid nights and mist forming before sunrise. People who live in the United Arab Emirates should drink a lot of water, not stay in the sun for long during the hottest part of the day, and drive carefully when they cannot see very far because of the mist in the morning.
