Etihad Doubles Kabul Flights Just Months After Route Launch

Etihad Airways is going to have two flights a day on the Abu Dhabi to Kabul route. This is a change. The airline is making this change because a lot of people want to fly on this route. The Abu Dhabi to Kabul route is very important. This route helps people travel between the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan. It also shows that Abu Dhabi is a big transit hub. People can fly from Abu Dhabi to places in Europe, Asia and other parts of the world.

The airline started flying on this route in March 2026. At that time, they had four flights a week. Soon they realised that they needed to have more flights. So they added flights to the schedule. Now Etihad Airways is going to have two flights a day on this route. The first flight will be in the morning. The second flight will be in the afternoon.

Here are the details of the flights:

  • EY312: Abu Dhabi to Kabul will leave at 9:55 am. Arrives at 1:25 pm
  • EY313: Kabul to Abu Dhabi will leave at 3:10 pm. Arrives at 6:00 pm
  • EY310: Abu Dhabi to Kabul will leave at 2:45 pm. Arrives at 6:15 pm
  • EY311: Kabul to Abu Dhabi will leave at 7:20 pm. Arrives at 10:10 pm

The airline is using Airbus A320 planes for these flights. These planes have 8 business-class seats and 150 economy-class seats.

The United Arab Emirates has an Afghan community. So it is very important to have air links between the two countries. The airline is trying to help people who want to visit their families, do business, study or trade. The new flights will give people options. They will be able to fly at different times of the day. They will also be able to connect to flights in Abu Dhabi.
