Kuwait Activates Airport Emergency Plan After Missile and Drone Attack

Kuwait has put its emergency plan into action at Kuwait International Airport. This is because Terminal One was hit by missiles and drones from Iran. The authorities had to stop all flights and reroute air traffic to nearby airports. The Public Authority for Civil Aviation said the attack hurt people and damaged some airport buildings. So they quickly put their emergency plan into action to keep passengers and workers safe.

Abdullah Al-Rajhi from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation said they acted fast to secure the airport and work together to respond to what happened. They stopped air traffic as a precaution while they figured out what to do.

The authorities said all incoming and outgoing flights are being sent to airports for now. They will keep stopping flights until they finish checking everything and making sure it is safe. The emergency plan is meant to keep people safe and get the airport working again. Experts are looking at how the airport is damaged so they can fix it.

The people in charge said keeping passengers safe is their priority. They are doing everything they are supposed to do in an emergency like this. They are also watching the airport closely to make sure everyone is safe. This attack is a concern, and it has people worried about flying in the Gulf. The people who run the airports are paying attention and working with their neighbours to manage the problems with air traffic.

If you were planning to fly through Kuwait International Airport, you should check with your airline to see what is going on with your flight. The airlines will tell you what to do as they figure things out. They do not know yet when things will get back to normal at the airport. The authorities said they will only start flying when they are sure it is safe and everything is working properly.

We will hear more about what’s happening as the emergency teams keep working to fix things. Kuwait International Airport and the Public Authority for Civil Aviation are working hard to get everything back to normal. Kuwait will do everything it can to keep people safe and get flights going again at Kuwait International Airport.
