This made people uncertain about talks between the US and Iran. Both sides were recently not expecting a deal to happen soon.
Trump said that after the US tried hard to make peace in the region, it should be a must for those countries to agree to the accords. The Abraham Accords were made in 2020. They helped make peace between Israel and some Arab countries like the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Many countries do not agree with this. Saudi Arabia and Qatar said they will not make friends with Israel unless there is a Palestinian state.
These comments came when the US and Iran were trying to make a ceasefire work. Diplomats are trying to make a deal.
