Nearly 10,000 vehicles impounded as Dubai tightens parking enforcement

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has really cracked down on people who park their cars in places all over Dubai. Far in 2025, they have found almost 10,000 cars that were parked in the wrong places.

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority said that they have taken away 9,753 cars that were parked in the wrong places or stopped in the wrong areas. They took these cars to a place called Lehbab Yard because the people who owned them did not follow the traffic rules. The people in charge said they are doing this to make sure people park their cars in the designated places in the city.

These people said that when cars are parked in places, it can cause traffic problems and make it hard for people to get around. It can also make the city look messy. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority said that they want to make sure people follow the traffic rules so that the city can look nice and be a place to drive.
