UAE launches nationwide media campaign to promote responsible digital content

The UAE’s National Media Authority has started a campaign to promote the 2026 Media Content Standards. This campaign wants to make media creators more responsible, stop the news, and make the UAE a leader in good and new media.

The campaign, which has the slogan “Creativity… Inspiration… Integrity “, will run for five weeks in all emirates. It will talk to citizens, people living in the UAE, social media influencers, students, media creators and media workers. This campaign is part of the UAE’s plan to have a responsible media sector.

The National Media Authority says this campaign will help people understand the importance of media content. It will also help people know what information is reliable and what is not. The goal is to support media while keeping the UAE’s culture, values and unity safe.

The campaign also wants to work with people and teach them. Universities and media offices will work together on programs to teach media creators professional skills and ethics.

Dr Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, the head of the National Media Authority, says the campaign will work with media creators to help them be responsible. He says media creators have a role in shaping what people think and in keeping the UAE’s story safe online.

The campaign started with a meeting in Abu Dhabi. Media workers, influencers, students, and creative people discussed the future of media and the importance of being honest in media creation.

The UAE government says this campaign is part of its plan to have a good digital world. By promoting storytelling and high-quality online communication, the UAE wants to make people trust the media more and have a culture of responsible expression.
