Dubai air defences intercept threats; overnight, loud blasts were heard across the city

People in Dubai heard loud blasts and now the government says they stopped some aerial threats.

The government in Dubai says that the air defence systems worked well and stopped the threats early on Wednesday.

This happened after people all over Dubai heard noises during the night.

The Dubai Media Office says that the loud sounds people heard around 2:04 am were because the air defence systems were stopping missiles and drones that were coming in.

The government told people that everything is okay and that they stopped all the threats without anyone getting hurt or anything getting damaged.

The Ministry of Defence in the UAE says that they are ready to deal with any threats and will keep taking action to keep the country safe and stable.

The government says that everything is under control and that they are doing everything they need to do to keep people in Dubai safe, whether they live there or are just visiting.
