Dubai’s Real Estate Brokerage Sector Achieves Record Growth in 2025

Dubai’s real estate brokerage industry experienced unprecedented expansion in 2025, cementing its pivotal role in the emirate’s thriving property market. According to new data from the Dubai Land Department, brokerage commissions soared to Dh13.59 billion—a 31 percent rise compared to the previous year. This surge mirrors Dubai’s continued appeal to global investors, developers, and homebuyers.

Transaction Volumes and Broker Participation Surge

Brokers facilitated a staggering 96,440 property deals in 2025, marking a 54 percent jump from 2024. The increase in broker-executed transactions highlights the sector’s crucial role in connecting buyers and sellers, ensuring smoother, more transparent property exchanges across the emirate.

Women Professionals Make Major Strides

One of the year’s most notable trends was the remarkable rise in women’s participation within the sector. Deals conducted by women brokers climbed by 49 percent to reach 28,909 transactions, while commissions earned by women soared 83 percent to Dh2.98 billion. By the end of the year, 11,371 women were working as real estate brokers—reflecting a growing culture of inclusivity and opportunity in Dubai’s business landscape.

Industry Attracts New Talent and Offices

The sector’s dynamism drew a wave of new professionals, with 13,083 new brokers joining the industry in 2025—a 38 percent increase over the previous year. The total number of registered real estate brokerage offices also grew, reaching 9,785. This expansion demonstrates the sector’s resilience and its ability to accommodate the rising demand from both local and international clients.

Initiatives Fuel Sector Innovation and Emirati Participation

The Dubai Land Department’s targeted initiatives, such as the Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme and the Real Estate Brokers Incubator Programme (developed in collaboration with Dubai Silicon Oasis), have further boosted sector professionalism and encouraged greater national participation. These programmes support Emirati brokers and help foster successful, sustainable brokerage businesses.

Dubai’s Status as a Global Real Estate Hub Strengthened

With robust growth in transactions, rising commissions, and a more diverse pool of professionals, Dubai’s real estate brokerage sector continues to reinforce the city’s reputation as one of the world’s leading and most dynamic real estate markets.
