Pakistan Envoy Visits Nationals Injured by Missile Debris in Dubai

The Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, Hussain Muhammad, visited Pakistani expatriates who were injured after missile debris fell in parts of Dubai following a recent interception by air defence systems. The incident occurred as the United Arab Emirates responded to missile attacks linked to the escalating conflict involving Iran.

Visit to Rashid Hospital

The Consul General, accompanied by Community Welfare Attachés Imran Shahid and Junaid Murtaza, met with the injured nationals at Rashid Hospital. The delegation expressed solidarity with the expatriates and assured them of the Pakistani mission’s ongoing support throughout their recovery.

Hospital officials, led by Dr. Mansour Yousef, Medical Director of Rashid Hospital, briefed the diplomats on the condition of the patients and the treatment they are receiving. Dr. Yousef highlighted the hospital team’s rapid response and the comprehensive care being provided to those affected by the incident.

Personal Encouragement and Assurance

During the visit, Hussain Muhammad met with three hospitalised Pakistani nationals: Insaramul Haq Shabbir, Khurram Iqbal, and Sheraz Ahmed. He conveyed his best wishes for their speedy recovery and assured them that the consulate stands ready to assist with any needs, whether related to medical care, documentation, or communication with family members.

The Consul General also thanked the hospital’s management and medical staff for their professionalism and swift action in treating the injured. He emphasized the importance of strong cooperation between the consulate and Dubai’s healthcare authorities during times of crisis.

Ongoing Coordination and Support

Following the incident, the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai has remained in close contact with local authorities and healthcare providers to ensure that all affected Pakistani nationals receive the necessary support. Consulate officials have also encouraged Pakistani residents in Dubai to stay informed through official channels and to reach out for assistance if needed.

This visit underscores the diplomatic mission’s commitment to the safety and well-being of the Pakistani community in the UAE, as well as the close ties between the two countries during challenging times.
