Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra Launched: Here’s What’s New

Samsung’s 2026 Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco brought a trio of new smartphones—the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra—each offering a blend of refined hardware, vibrant displays, and next-level camera features. With pre-orders now live and official sales starting March 11, here’s what UAE buyers can expect from the latest flagship lineup.

Galaxy S26: Compact Powerhouse Gets Brighter

The standard S26 is all about meaningful upgrades. Its 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen now boasts a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, making it easier to see in bright sunlight. Storage starts at a generous 256GB, ditching the old 128GB entry point.

Camera hardware stays familiar—a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP 3x telephoto—but Samsung has sharpened its image processing and AI features for crisper shots and steadier videos. The battery gets a minor bump to 4,300mAh, with charging speeds holding at 25W wired and 15W wireless.

Pricing in UAE:

  • Dh3,599 (12GB + 256GB)
  • Dh4,399 (12GB + 512GB)

Galaxy S26+: More Screen, Faster Charging

For those who like their phones big and bold, the S26+ offers a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Charging speeds jump to 45W wired and 20W wireless, making quick top-ups easier than ever. The camera setup matches the S26, and storage options remain the same.

Pricing in UAE:

  • Dh4,299 (12GB + 256GB)
  • Dh5,099 (12GB + 512GB)

Galaxy S26 Ultra: Privacy & Performance

Samsung’s S26 Ultra is the standout in the lineup, featuring a massive 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a unique Privacy Display function. This tech narrows the screen’s viewing angles, making it tough for others to peek at your phone in public.

The camera system is Samsung’s most advanced yet: a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x telephoto, and a 50MP 5x periscope lens. Video options include 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps. The Ultra packs a 5,000mAh battery with the fastest charging in the series—60W wired and 25W wireless.

Pricing in UAE:

  • Dh5,099 (12GB + 512GB)
  • Dh7,099 (16GB + 1TB)

All models come in Cobalt Violet, Black, Sky Blue, and White, and run Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8.5. Pre-orders are open now through Samsung Gulf channels.

Whether you want a brighter everyday device, a big-screen workhorse, or a privacy-focused powerhouse, Samsung’s new S26 series delivers something for everyone—just in time for the spring smartphone season
