The Trump Organization has announced an ambitious new project: a soaring 91-storey luxury tower set for Australia’s iconic Gold Coast. If completed as planned, the Trump International Hotel & Tower, Gold Coast will stand at approximately 335 metres—making it the tallest building in Australia and a new landmark on the Surfers Paradise skyline.
The $1 billion-plus development, created in partnership with Altus Property Group, will blend luxury living with five-star hospitality. The tower’s amenities will include a 285-room Trump-branded hotel and 272 high-end residential apartments. At ground level, a three-level podium will house an exclusive beach club and over 3,400 square metres of premium retail and dining space—cementing the project’s status as a high-end lifestyle hub in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said the project represents the brand’s drive to bring world-class luxury to iconic locations. “The Gold Coast project is a testament to our commitment to quality, sophistication, and exceptional service,” he said.
David Young, founder and CEO of Altus Property Group, added that the partnership will introduce a globally recognised luxury brand to Australia, aiming to transform central Surfers Paradise with a new mixed-use destination.
Construction is expected to kick off in August, pending final approvals. The project enters a competitive race for Australia’s tallest tower, with other high-rise proposals also in the pipeline along the Gold Coast. If realized, the Trump tower will not only surpass all current Australian skyscrapers but will also become one of the most prominent buildings in the Southern Hemisphere.
