Dubai: The people in charge of roads in Dubai just finished a project to fix roads. They worked on 17 kilometres of roads on big highways, main roads and areas where people live. They did this to keep the roads in shape and make sure people can drive safely.
They finished the work in June 2026. The people in charge of roads wanted to make sure the roads are good and safe for people to drive on. They worked on big roads like Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Khawaneej Road and Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road.
They also fixed roads in areas like Mirdif, Zabeel First and Al Garhoud. They even fixed some of the bike paths in Dubai. The people in charge of roads say this project helps Dubai have roads and makes it easier for people to get around. Abdullah Lootah is in charge of taking care of roads at the Traffic and Roads Agency. He said they use computers and special lasers to check the roads every year. This helps them find problems before they become issues.
