Dubai’s flydubai Strengthens Global Reach with New Routes and Award Win

Dubai: flydubai has been given the title of Airline with the Best Connectivity in the Middle East at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2026, which’s the third time flydubai has won this big award.

The award was given out during the edition of the yearly ceremony, and it was decided by votes from readers of Business Traveller Middle East magazine and people who travel. This award shows that flydubai is still working hard to make its network better and help Dubai become a centre for aviation.

Flydubai has added a lot of places to its network in the last few months, which means people can now travel to more places in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia. One of the places flydubai is flying to is Benghazi, Libya, which started on June 17 and happens three times a week. Flydubai is also going to start flying to Bangkok, Thailand every day from July 1 and then to Pokhara, Nepal from September 23.

Because a lot of people want to travel during the summer, flydubai is also flying to some popular places for fun, like Al Alamein, Antalya, Batumi, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Olbia, Santorini and Trabzon. Mohammed Hareb AlMheiri, who is the Chief Procurement and Technology Officer at flydubai, was happy about the award. Said that flydubai is still working hard to make its network better from Dubai.

“We are happy to get the Airline with the Best Connectivity in the Middle East award for the time “, he said.

“Since flydubai started in 2009, we have been working hard to open up places that did not have many flights, making it easier for people to travel and helping more trade and tourism happen across our network.”

He also said that as flydubai keeps getting bigger, the airline is still working hard to give people choices for travel and help make Dubai one of the biggest aviation centres in the world. This award shows that flydubai is getting better at connecting places with big cities around the world, and it shows how hard flydubai is working to fly to more places.
