Hijri New Year 2026: Free Parking and New Metro Timings Announced in Dubai

Dubai is doing something for people who live in Dubai and for visitors. They are making parking free. They are changing the times for public transport during the Hijri New Year holiday on Monday, June 15. This is what the Roads and Transport Authority said.

People can park for free in lots in Dubai during the holiday. They still have to pay for parking in big buildings with many levels. They will start charging for parking on Tuesday, June 16.

The Roads and Transport Authority is also closing its customer service offices on June 15. People can still get help from the office in Umm Ramool and from special machines in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, Al Kifaf and the Roads and Transport Authority office. These machines are available all the time. The places where people can get their cars checked will also be closed during the holiday.

The Dubai Metro will run from 5 am to midnight on Monday. The Red Line and the Green Line will both be open. The Dubai Tram will run from 6 am to 1 am the following day. This will help people travelling during the holiday. People who take the bus should check the S’hail application to see when the buses are coming.

  • The bus that normally goes from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi will not be running from June 13 to June 15.
  • People who want to go to Abu Dhabi can take a bus from Ibn Battuta Bus Station. The boats that carry people across the water will still be running during the holiday. People can find out when they are coming by looking at the Roads and Transport Authority’s information.

The Hijri New Year is the start of the calendar. It is a holiday in the UAE. The people in charge are telling everyone to plan their trips of time and to check the transport schedules before they leave. This way, everyone can have a holiday. The Hijri New Year holiday is a holiday, and the Hijri New Year is something that people celebrate. The Roads and Transport Authority is trying to make the Hijri New Year holiday better for everyone.
