WHO warns Ebola crisis could continue as cases rise in eastern Congo

Bunia: The World Health Organisation said that the Ebola outbreak is still a problem in Congo and Uganda. The World Health Organisation thinks that the risk of Ebola spreading in these countries is high. The risk is low for the rest of the world.

The World Health Organisation is working hard to stop the Ebola outbreak from getting worse. The Ebola outbreak is caused by the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola. It is spreading in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo and into neighbouring Uganda. The World Health Organisation thinks that the Ebola outbreak could go on for at least two more months.

The Director-General of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that the World Health Organisation is very worried about the Ebola outbreak. The World Health Organisation has already said that the Ebola outbreak is a public health emergency.

There are 51 Ebola cases in Congo’s Ituri and North Kivu provinces, and two Ebola cases in Uganda. There are also 600 suspected Ebola cases and 139 suspected Ebola deaths.

The Ebola outbreak is very serious because there are no vaccines or treatments for the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola. The Ebola virus spread without being detected for weeks because the initial Ebola cases were tested for the Ebola strain.

This delay allowed the Ebola virus to spread further in mining areas and in communities with conflict. In Bunia and nearby towns, people are having trouble finding face masks and disinfectants because they are afraid of the Ebola outbreak.

Aid organisations said that hospitals are having trouble taking care of patients because they are too crowded and do not have resources. The World Health Organisation is also having trouble because of the fighting in Congo.

The World Health Organisation is getting Ebola vaccines from the United States and Britain. The United States is also giving money to help with the Ebola outbreak.

The World Health Organisation is worried that if people keep moving in Congo and Uganda, it will be harder to stop the Ebola outbreak. The World Health Organisation thinks that the Ebola outbreak needs to be brought under control.
