Saudi Arabia has announced rules for people who want to go to Hajj in their own country. They are changing the way people pay for Hajj bookings. Now people will only have six hours to make their payment.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that people who live in Saudi Arabia and have already signed up for Hajj can start making their payment on Friday, May 15. They will do this through the Nusuk platform.
At first, people will have up to 72 hours to pay for their Hajj booking. On Friday, 28 Dhul Qada, they will only have six hours to pay. If they do not pay on time, their booking will be cancelled. People will still use the SADAD payment system to pay for their Hajj booking.
The government of Saudi Arabia is doing this to make sure everyone has a chance to go to Hajj. They want to make the process of booking Hajj easier and faster.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is also working on things to make Hajj better. They are building tents for people to stay in when they are in Mina. These tents are very big. Cover more than 24,000 square metres.
The new tents are in two areas of Mina. One area is near King Abdulaziz Road, and the other area is near Al Khaif Mosque. The tents have ventilation and shading. They also have dining halls and places for people to gather.
The government of Saudi Arabia is also making sure that the area is safe. They have worked on a project to make sure there are no fires. They have also made the area cooler. They did this by installing more than 339,000 linear metres of infrastructure.
All of these changes are being made to help people who are going to Hajj. The government of Saudi Arabia wants to make sure that everyone has a safe experience during Hajj. Saudi Arabia is getting ready for the 2026 Hajj season. They want to make sure everything is perfect for the people who are going to Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
