India Trashes Lockdown Rumours, Urges Public to Ignore Fake Claims

New Delhi: The Indian government has said that the rumours about a lockdown over the country because of the Iran conflict are not true. They are completely false the Indian government said.

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri made it clear that the Indian government is not thinking about lockdown measures all. He wants people to not believe the information that is being spread on social media.

He also wants people to not share this information with others. The Indian government is saying this because there are a lot of posts on the internet that say India might have emergency restrictions because of the problems in the Middle East.

The Indian government is keeping an eye on what is happening in the world especially how it can affect the oil we use and the trade routes. The Indian government says that there is no need to worry right now and they are not planning to restrict peoples movements in India.

India gets a lot of its oil from countries so the Indian government has been trying to get oil from different sources and store some oil for emergencies. This way if there are problems in the world India will still have oil.

The Indian government is working hard to make sure that people have fuel and that goods can be transported easily. Experts say that when there are problems between countries it can affect the price of oil and how goods are transported.

This does not mean that the Indian government will lock down the country. The Indian government is asking people to listen to official news sources and not spread wrong information especially when the world is uncertain.

The Indian government says that spreading rumours can cause panic and disrupt the peace. Please check the information before sharing it online. The Indian government and the authorities are working hard to keep everything under control. They want people to cooperate with them.

The Indian government is keeping an eye on the situation and they will take necessary steps if needed. For now the Indian government says that there is no need to worry about a lockdown, in India because of the Iran conflict.
