UAE Weather: Clear Day Ahead, But Humid and Foggy Nights Expected

The UAE is set for a day of mostly clear skies on Thursday, but residents should be prepared for a humid night that could bring patches of fog or mist—especially in western parts of the country by early Friday.

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), light to moderate winds will sweep across the Emirates, shifting from southeast to northeast at speeds between 10 and 20 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 30 km/h in some places.

After sunset, humidity levels are expected to climb sharply, particularly in coastal and inland areas out west. This uptick in moisture means visibility could drop in the early morning, so motorists heading out at dawn are being urged to drive carefully, stick to speed limits, and keep an eye on official weather alerts for any fog advisories.

Seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will remain calm. In the Arabian Gulf, high tides are forecast for 2:13pm and 3:16am, with low tides at 8:03am and 8:53pm. For the Oman Sea, expect high tides at 11:01am and 11:20pm, and low tides at 4:58pm and 5:41am.

Daytime temperatures will be mild, with Abu Dhabi and Sharjah reaching highs around 32°C, Dubai peaking at 31°C, and coastal cities like Ajman and Umm Al Quwain seeing 30–31°C. Fujairah will be a bit cooler at about 29°C. Overnight lows will range from 15°C to 20°C.

Humidity could climb to 90% in western areas like Al Ruwais and Al Sila, making misty mornings more likely there. For most of the UAE, it’s a day to enjoy the sun—just be ready for a muggy, possibly foggy start to Friday
