UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday received a delegation of Chinese participants from the First UAE Second-Tier Leadership Executive Programme, held under the theme “Bridging Nations, Building Leaders.”
During the meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed was briefed on the programme’s objectives, which focus on empowering national talent and equipping participants with future-ready leadership skills. The initiative emphasizes exposure to global best practices, exchange of specialized expertise, and cross-cultural understanding.
Sheikh Mohamed highlighted that such programmes align with the UAE’s broader vision of fostering dialogue, cooperation, and partnerships with countries around the world in ways that promote shared prosperity and sustainable development. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the institutions involved in organizing the programme, noting that leadership initiatives of this kind play a vital role in preparing future leaders capable of strengthening constructive international engagement.
Members of the delegation thanked the UAE leadership for its continued support in developing leadership talent. They said the programme provided valuable insights into China’s experience in governance, innovation, sustainable economic development, education, and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and the creative industries. Participants added that the exposure enhanced their ability to contribute effectively to future-oriented sectors.
The meeting was attended by a number of sheikhs, ministers, senior government officials, and guests, reflecting the importance the UAE places on leadership development and international cooperation.
