Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced temporary road closures on several major roads this Sunday, February 8, to make way for the Burj2Burj Half Marathon 2026.

The closures will be in effect from 6:30am to 10:00am while the race takes place. The marathon will start at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and finish at Umm Suqeim Park, spanning approximately three and a half hours.

Affected roads include Al Bours Street, Al Mustaqbal Street, Financial Centre Street, Al Safa Road, Al Wasl Road, 2nd December Street, and Jumeirah Street.

RTA said at least one lane will stay open on all affected roads, with full access restored as soon as the race wraps up.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys ahead of time and allow extra travel time to avoid delays.
