More Ships Cross Hormuz as Trade Pushes Through Rising Tensions

More ships are going through the Strait of Hormuz. This is happening even though there is a blockade. The United States and its friends are blocking ships that are connected to Iran.

Recently we saw that than 20 big ships went through the strait in just one day. This was on April 16. It is a change from what was happening before. Then many ships were too scared to go through because of the fighting and the danger.

The Strait of Hormuz is an important place. It connects the Persian Gulf to the rest of the world. Many ships go through here to carry oil and gas. Before the fighting started over 100 ships were going through every day. Now it is not as many. It is getting a little better.

The blockade was ordered by Donald Trump. It is meant to stop ships that are connected to Iran.. The United States Central Command said that ships that are not connected to Iran can still go through.

This means that some ships can still go through. They have to be careful. Some ships have been told to turn or change their route. This shows that the situation is still very uncertain.

Shipping companies are trying to be safe. They are using routes along the coasts of Iran and Oman. This helps them avoid dangers. Experts say that this is helping to keep some trade going with all the tension.

Since the conflict started in February almost 279 ships have gone through the strait.. A lot of this happened when things were not as busy.

Even though more ships are going through it is still not as many as it used to be. This shows that the geopolitical tensions are still affecting everything. The Strait of Hormuz is still a dangerous place. Everyone is watching to see if things will get worse.

For now the fact that ships are going through again shows that global supply chains are strong.. It also reminds us that the situation, in the Strait of Hormuz is still not stable and could change at any moment.
