UAE rain alert: Abu Dhabi Police urge motorists to slow down

People who drive in the United Arab Emirates need to be very careful when they’re on the road. The weather is not stable. It is raining, which is making the roads very slippery.

The police in Abu Dhabi are telling people to drive. They do not want people to drive fast or do things that might cause an accident on the wet roads.

The Traffic Directorate and Safe Patrols are saying that people who drive need to pay attention all the time when it is raining. They need to follow the speed limits, especially when the roads have signs that say to slow down.

The people in charge are saying that drivers need to leave a lot of space between their car and the car in front of them. They should not stop their car suddenly because it might skid. Drivers should also drive slower when they are turning so they do not lose control of their car.

If it is hard to see because of rain or dust drivers should pull over to the side of the road and wait until they can see clearly again.

The police are also warning people not to drive in a way that’s not safe. They should not drive fast or change lanes suddenly. They should not drive into areas that might be flooded.

There are some things that people who drive should do to be safe. They should make sure their windshield is clean. They should use their headlights so they can see better. They should not drive in areas that’re low and might have water in them. People who drive should also stay away from trees and power lines when the weather is bad.

The police are giving this advice because they want to make sure everyone is safe, on the road. They want all drivers to follow the rules of the road and be careful all the time when the weather’s not good. The United Arab Emirates police are doing this to help people who drive in the United Arab Emirates.
