Drone Strike Hits Kuwait Oil Facilities, No Casualties Reported

Dubai: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said on Sunday that some of its facilities were hit by a drone attack. This caused fires. Damaged some things but nobody was hurt.

The places that were hit were run by Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Petrochemical Industries Company. These are parts of Kuwaits energy system.

The people in charge of dealing with emergencies from these companies along with the Kuwait Fire Force quickly did what they had to do to contain the situation. They put out the fires before they could spread to places, which stopped a bigger problem from happening.

The people in charge said that nobody was injured or killed which shows that the safety systems and emergency plans worked well. They also said that they already had plans in place to keep people and important buildings safe.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation is working with the people in charge to see how bad the damage is and to make sure everything keeps running. While they are still figuring out the impact it seems like the problems were not too big.

This happened at a time when there is a lot of tension in the area and people are worried about the safety of energy systems. There have been attacks on similar places, in the Gulf area, which has made people worry about whether they can get the energy they need.
