Dubai: A lot of places of worship like gurudwaras and temples and churches are closed until we know what is going on. The people in charge of Dubai told them to close because they want to keep everyone safe.
The Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara and the Hindu Temple Dubai and the Shri Krishna Temple are all closed. The people who run these places said they got a message from the authorities telling them to close up shop for a while.
They told the people who go to these places that they are sorry for the trouble and they should just go along with what the authorities say. They also said some prayers for everyone to be safe and sound.
The community leaders said that the people in charge of the community told them to stop having gatherings so everyone can be safe. There is a lot of tension in the area now.
The churches in Dubai are doing the thing. They cancelled their Good Friday services. Told people to stay home and pray instead. Some of them are even doing their services online.
Even though they told everyone about the closures some people still showed up at the churches. Prayed outside because they did not know they were closed.
The authorities said that this is, for now and they want to keep everyone safe. They told people to check the official news and not to spread rumors.
