Abu Dhabi: Something bad happened in Ajban. Twelve people got hurt when pieces of missiles and drones fell from the sky. This happened after the UAEs air defence systems stopped some threats from getting through.
The people in charge said this happened when the defence systems stopped some things that were flying in the air. The pieces that fell off landed in places where people live in Ajban. The emergency teams went to the scene away. They made sure the area was safe and helped the people who were hurt.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office said that six people from Nepal and five people from India got hurt a little or a lot. Another person from Nepal is seriously hurt. All the people who were hurt were taken to the hospital to get help.
The people in charge said that the people got hurt because of the pieces that fell from the sky not because they were hit directly. This shows that the UAEs air defence systems are working well. They stopped the threats before they could get to where they were going.
The UAE Ministry of Defence said that they stopped missiles and drones. People heard noises in some parts of the emirate because of this.
Something else happened near the Habshan gas facilities. Pieces fell from the sky. A small fire started. The people in charge stopped the fire. They had to stop work for a little while. Nobody got hurt there.
The people in charge want everyone to be careful. They want people to only share information that’s true. They do not want people to share things that’re not true or that they are not sure about.
