Dubai Roads Fully Restored After Severe Weather RTA Confirms

Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai says that all the roads in Dubai are now open again. This is after the weather that hit some parts of Dubai.

The people in charge say that all the big roads and important areas are working now. There were some problems during the bad weather but they were fixed right away.

Hamad Ali Al Shehhi, who is the Director of Roads at the RTA said that they did a lot of things to get ready for the storm. They worked with groups to make sure that the roads did not get too blocked and that the traffic kept moving.

The RTA did some smart things to get ready for the storm. They put in drains and special pumps to get rid of the water. They also made some ponds to hold the extra water. They did all of this in than 14 important places.

The RTA also worked with groups like the Dubai Police and the Dubai Municipality. They divided the city into parts so they could respond to problems faster.

They used a system to keep an eye on everything. This system had over 10,000 cameras and special computers that could look at what was happening in time. They also got updates on the weather from the National Centre of Meteorology. They used a lot of equipment like pumps and water tankers and emergency vehicles. They even had around 1,300 people helping out.

The people at the RTA are happy that they did not have to close any of the roads. This shows that their plan worked well.

The RTA says that they will keep working to make the roads better and use technology to make sure they are ready, for any bad weather that might come in the future. Dubai roads are a part of the city and the RTA wants to make sure they are always safe. The RTA is going to keep doing things to make Dubai roads better.
