Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates is getting a final wave of heavy rain and thunderstorms on Friday. This is the part of a weather system that has been affecting the country. The weather system has brought temperatures, strong winds and reduced visibility to many parts of the United Arab Emirates.
The National Centre of Meteorology says a low-pressure system is moving into the country from the west. This system is making the skies cloudy to overcast. It is raining on and off across most of the United Arab Emirates.
The latest rain started in the parts of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday evening. It moved to Al Dhafra and Abu Dhabi at night. The rain is expected to spread to the parts of the United Arab Emirates, Al Ain and the eastern regions on Friday.
There have been downpours at times with thunder and lightning. The winds are strong. Can blow up to 60 kilometers per hour in some areas. This is making it hard to see in some places because of the dust.
The United Arab Emirates has already gotten a lot of rain in places like Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The eastern wadis and mountainous areas have a lot of water because of the clouds.
On Friday the weather will be partly to cloudy. There will be rain throughout the day because of the clouds. The temperatures will. The winds will be between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour. The winds may get stronger at times.
The weather will start to get by Friday evening. The skies will be clearer, from Saturday because of the winds coming from the northwest. By Sunday and Monday the weather will be stable and calm.
The authorities are telling people to be careful and avoid areas that can flood. They are also telling people to follow the advice as the United Arab Emirates comes out of this unstable weather.
